Axis of Light: Eight Artists from the Middle East

London’s ICA launches the screening of a collaborative film by eight Middle Eastern artists today. Axis of Light will be exhibited every day until March 4 at the following times: 12pm, 1.15pm, 2.30pm, 3.45pm and 5.00pm.

The film, about an hour long, is free to go and see and is described by the ICA as “a poignant and absorbing observation of the beauty and mystery of the Middle East. Through the eyes of these artists, a human face so often overshadowed by conflict and war is revealed.”

The eight artists are Jananne Al-Ani, Ayman Balbaaki, Mona Saudi, Mona Hatoum, Etel Adnan, Youssef Nabil, Rachid Koraichi and Shirin Neshat. It is directed by Pia Getty.
