Don’t miss: London MENA Film Festival

Children are at the heart of this year’s Middle East and North Africa film festival, which hits play on October 26 with the Algerian/Moroccan production, How Big Is Your Love? at the Tricycle Cinema.

If focusing on kids at a time when countries are being torn apart seems unbearably poignant/optimistic – well, that’s the intention. “The importance of the festival is apparent now more than ever, we are at a pivotal moment of change in the MENA region, and film, more than any other medium can act as a catalyst for debate and change,” says Festival Director, Yasmin El Derby.

The festival runs from 26 October – 2 November 2012. The full programme is available here.
